Lazy Image Post

No time today so here is are a series of images STOLEN from the UK series of D&D modules.

This is UK1, Beyond the Crystal Cave

UK4, When A Star Falls

UK5, Eye Of The Serpent

UK7, Dark Clouds Gather

Now that you have read through all that. I have to take a few days off from my crazy duelist story but if anyone has any insane writing challenges they want me to do with that story (Rhythm, metre, heroic couplets, point of view, specific genre, anything) then let me know and if they are at all interesting I will try and go through them one by one.

  1. I like the challenge and brainhurt generated by constrained writing:

All sentences have vowel handicaps. The first and last vowel in each sentence should be the same. In each sentence, you should use a different vowel (in a, e, i, o, u order) without failing. Or could pick another order if that's your wont. Rules like this make odd things occur. Y should be the sixth vowel in every sixth sentence okay?

Refrain from using letters with ascenders and descenders (b, d, f, g, h, j, k, l, p, q, t, and y) in all sentences but the first in a paragraph. Or, sentences cannot contain both ascenders and descenders after the first.

  2. Tim Truman's moody, evocative art for UK1 did not reproduce well in your source. They should look more like:
