We have a cover! (uncoloured).
We are still (please Jesus) on course for a launch on or around the 1st December. And you know what that means. It means me pimping myself out on this blog every goddamn day of December.
This is the lair of the Prismatic Demon |
Because if there is one thing people love - IT'S REGULAR UPDATES.
So, there you have it, I will BLOG EVERY DAY OF THE KICKSTARTER.
And that means you get to request things/harass me/make demands etc.
So if there is something you have always wanted me to blog about and if its possible to write a reasonable post about it in one day, then I will try to cover it during the Kickstarter.
God knows this blog is full of unfinished projects, half ideas, vague notions etc etc. So if there is stuff you want me to go back to, to finish or add more, or stuff you want me to make. Then you can ask, either here in the comments, on Facebook, G+ (may she rest in peace) or the Subreddit
Blog about Lanthanum Chromate.

Delete(But if you want to liveblog another chivalric romance I'm here for it)
I imagine you now as a kind of Ronin or an ancient Samurai who has lost his castle and Daiamo but who now walks the comments of other blogs, brey bearded, sword in hand.
DeleteAnd Lanthanum Chromate - challenge accepted.
Hinter - If I can find a small one I can do in a day then that might be possible.
DeleteMan, I only need to know how much will cost the shipment to Brazil, I did not backed another projects because of that. I saw some projects that got a good deal on that, others that unfortunately not. So, with that out of the way and at a fair cost, I would absolutely back this book. I trust you 100% because I know your work, and the art is fantastic. And I know many others in the same position would agree. thx!
ReplyDeleteI don't know but possibly quite a bit. We are hoping to move a chunk to the UK where shipping is cheaper worldwide. Best guess is around £20 sterling at the moment.
DeleteI don't know how, but the kickstarter for cthulhu mythos 5E got shippment worldwide at 20 dollars more or less.
DeletePlease do Something with magic mirror/mirror magic you lovely wordsmith
ReplyDeleteGot it and will do.
DeleteHaven't supported a Kickstarter since Hot Springs Island, looking forward to this.
ReplyDeleteSince you offered to answer:
Anything ever happen w/ that awesome Dwarf city on the edge of a volcano campaign idea? (Something Chromium?)
Also, you still working on DCO 2.0?
Will do Lanthanum Chromate stuff. Got it. Jacob is working on layout for DCO2 but its unlikely to have much done on it over December as we will all probably be super busy with the Kickstarter & families.
DeleteIf I could ask for wishes, I would wish for conclusion of The Woodlands, The Stolen Skin of Sun and something never seen or mentioned before.
ReplyDeleteI'd ask for more of Ganglia Moor, but it was such a experience for me to read it, I am not sure it is possible to add to it.
Whoo, you ask for a lot! I will try to do something for all of them.
DeleteThis is all just a wish. I don't wish to impose any unreasonable or unwanted load onto you. If you find some time and desire, I'd be very grateful.
DeleteThe City of Infinite Ruin infected my heart the first time i read it. I actually retyped the whole damn thing on my Remington so as to have a copy available even without power or laptop.
ReplyDeleteEvery Demon City story I think of happens there. It *IS* three titular city of Troika for me. It pops up on all my games even if the PCs never reach or reach or even hear about it.....
So if there's anything else to be had from that well, could we have a sip?
Goddamn but my excitement and autocorrect made that a mess to read -____-
DeleteMore Infinite City stuff. Will be hard but I will give it a go.
DeleteI believe in the magical power of your blood & sweat & standards, Patrick!
DeleteHonestly, I want to see you riff off of these weird spellcaster spam messages. Surely this can be gamified.
ReplyDeleteOk, great and powerful spell casters, Lauren John and Priest Ade. Will do.
DeleteI’m excited about this one.
DeleteWas thinking the same thing- all spam messages should be treated as legitimate requests!
ReplyDeleteI probably can't do all but I can try a few.
DeleteI'd like you to write about how to write an OSR adventure and avoid railroading. If the adventure is, PCs are hired to find something, somewhere, and to get there they must travel this path, how to make it less a railroad?
ReplyDeleteThat.. actually sounds challenging but I will give it a go.
DeleteEvery time I read this at first II wonde if this is for real a person.
ReplyDeleteCould you talk about the writing process?
ReplyDeleteA peak behind the curtain? I’d love to know what went into creating this book.
voting for more Eclipsed Kingdom, but all these other ideas are great too.
ReplyDelete+1, Snail Knight ballads, Avis Infernalis, and elves in mouse-mail.
DeleteWhat do you think about vidyagame RPGs? Do you like any?
ReplyDeleteI don't really play any but I have a kind of para-hobby where I still watch Youtube reviews and criticism. I'm not sure if thats enough to make a blog post about though.
DeleteWould you consider working on one? Like some of the textier ones, maybe, like Sunless Skies, West of Loathing, 80 Days, etc?
DeletePossibly, but I would want money and the kind of freedom those games and companies usually don't offer.
Deleteblog about gamemasters showing pictures from the book to the players
ReplyDeleteChallenging...
DeleteCould you say something about projects that haven't had any appearance on this site yet, ideas you'd like to tackle in the future?
ReplyDeleteImagine being a high-level wizard stuck soliciting business using spam because noone believes in your powers :(
ReplyDeleteDefinitely Lanthanum Chromate
ReplyDeleteHow about The World Uncertain?
ReplyDeleteI will see what I can do.
DeleteMore stuff about the Isles of the Imprisoned Moon, if you’re still taking requests.
ReplyDeleteWill do what I can....
